Care for Children & Young People with Complex Health Needs
We firmly believe there’s no place like home for a child or young person with complex health needs. Our service will promote independence and helps children and young people achieve their independence.
NurtureCare provides long term or short breaks and support for parents and carers 24/7 365 days per year with a minimum of 2 hours per visit.
NurtureCare offers parents and carers a peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that their child are being looked after; that they are comfortable, warm and fed, happy that they are stimulated and not afraid; they have a companion and trusted qualified carer with them at all times, who will enable them to laugh, to smile, and to make the most of every day.
We understand from our experience that above all we must work in partnership with all concerned in the child’s wellbeing to provide a safe environment in which individually tailored homecare, education, play and occupational therapies can help each child to develop a range of skills and realise their potential.
Put simply, without NurtureCare, my child would still be on the hospital ward.Service User (LE12)
